The paparazzi who chased Justin Bieber down the L.A. freeway earlier this month, may be looking at jail time for his agressive actions. According to TMZ, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) has completed their investigation and the case is now in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney.
Justin was given at ticket for speeding over 80 mph down the highway, while the pap original evaded police but was tracked down using his license plate number.
Frank Mateljan, spokesperson for the City Attorney, says the office is now reviewing the case to see if criminal charges should be filed. The L.A. Times reports that the pap could be prosecuted under a new anti-paparazzi law. This would be the first case involving the law, which "cracks down on photographers who drive recklessly in pursuit of celebrities or block sidewalks and create the sense of 'false imprisonment.'" The photographer could face jail time if convicted.
Do you think the paparazzi who chased Justin should go to jail or do you think Justin should have driven more carefully despite the provacation?
